Baroda Pioneer AMC launched Treasury Advantage Fund
Baroda Pioneer AMC on Wednesday launched Baroda Pioneer Treasury Advantage Fund, an open-ended debt fund, which aims to provide optimal
returns and liquidity by investing in a portfolio comprising of debt securities and money market instruments.
The Fund is designed in such a way that investors are provided with investment avenues for their short-term surpluses and with reasonable returns combined with high levels of liquidity and safety through portfolio construction and in depth credit evaluation of securities.
Rajan Krishnan, CEO, Baroda Pioneer AMC commented, “We are now intensifying our product basket further by launching Baroda Pioneer Treasury Advantage Fund, which complements our first product after joint venture and also provides a broader choice to our investors to help fulfill their investment objectives better.”
Baroda Pioneer Treasury Advantage Fund will follow an investment strategy that will attempt to minimise the credit risk, interest rate risk and liquidity risk to investors in the fund. The salient features of the investment strategy are: at least 80% exposure to AAA/P1+ (or equivalent) rated corporate or sovereign papers while maintaining the average maturity in the range of 4 months to 10 months.
